Water Heater Water Heater Service Review for Ashley in Torrington, CT

Water Heater Service Torrington, CT

I would give no stars if I could. Raymond responded to my call to clear a clogged toilet and check out why my water pressure suddenly was so low. Took $125 by credit card upfront before even coming out, to guarantee the appt he said. He poked around the well tank, said the wires were really old and not grounded (this is true and I was going to have him fix this) and then said probably have to replace the well pump (true) but would have to dig a brand new trench 4 ft deep from the house to the well since who knows what state the conduit was in and the new wires would never fit the existing conduit (so so so not true!). He estimated $26,000 and that they could start tomorrow. How could he think I would buy that when installing a new 300 ft well, ditch, conduit, pump, wires, transformer and tank would cost $15,000? I'll tell you how: because I'm an older woman, widowed, new to the area and he figured I was an easy mark. In the end he charged me $360 in total to fix the toilet which only took him a couple minutes. Very expensive. And a shyster to boot!! People, look elsewhere. There are honest plumbers, just not Call The Bee!
