Book Re-Piping Services
Older Connecticut buildings may contain plumbing systems that are poorly sized or utilize materials now considered unsafe. As homes age, their plumbing systems can corrode, resulting in poor water pressure or leaks. Rather than continuing to suffer from these issues, consider replacing some or all of your building’s water piping system.
Call The Bee Services is Your Local Re-Piping Expert
Since 2007, we have helped thousands of Hartford County homeowners with plumbing problems. If your home was built before 1997, we recommend a complete inspection of your plumbing system to evaluate these potential risk areas:
- Prior to 1960, galvanized steel pipe was commonly used for water supply piping. Over time, steel pipe can rust and either leak or build up rust that reduces water flow.
- Very old homes can contain lead water-supply piping, a serious health risk, particularly for children.
- If your home was built between 1978 and 1995, it may contain polybutylene supply piping. Polybutylene is now recognized as a serious leak hazard and will need to be replaced to prevent catastrophic water leaks.
- Underground Piping: If your house is built on a concrete slab or has water piping that cannot be inspected, water leaks can occur without your knowledge and cause high water bills.
